Hiking the mountain & forest of the Norwegian border!

Are you looking for some fresh air and a soft mountain adventure in scenic surroundings? Want to explore the Swedish wilderness beyond the tourist tracks? Then join us this summer for an unique adventure on the border of Sweden and Norway! Together with a skilled mountain- and wilderness leader we head out to discover the unique nature and scenic mountain area. We spend our days in nature enjoying our meals outdoor. Evenings we cook our meals together by the camp fire and enjoy the silence of nature. We stay in a cozy cabin by the foot of the mountain with proper beds and a fire place. There will be plenty of fresh air, time for star gazing and gathering around the camp fire for sure. Or as we like to put it - quality time deluxe!

Walking distance is approx 12 km/ day. No pre-knowledge is needed but it’s always wise to be in good condition for hiking.

WHAT´S THE PRICE?
Adult starting from 4500 SEK (final price depends on numbers of participants). Booking fee is 500 SEK (not refundable). Final payment needs to be done 28 days prior the tour at latest. This tour is not suitable for children below 16 year. Please see our family activities.

HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR TAKE?
This tour is 3 days, 2 nights. The tour starts and ends in Rattvik. Need somewhere to stay the night before or after the tour? No problem, just check out our partners in Rattvik here.

WHAT´S INCLUDED?
Tour leader, mountain- and wilderness guide, transport with minibus to/ from Rattvik, full board (7 meals), 2 nights in shared cabin, guided tours and mountain hike.

HOW DO I BOOK AND WHAT ABOUT CANCELLATION TERMS?
In order to book your spot on this tour please press the booking button down below. Once you decide to book the tour you will be asked to pay the booking fee (500 SEK). Approx 1,5 month before the departure we will send you a payment invitation for the rest of the amount. Final price depends on final number of participants.

Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 28 days before the trip. If you change your mind or need to re-plan, we will refund you 100% of the price (however the booking fee is not refundable). If canceled later than 28 days but before 14 days before the trip, 50% of the total amount will be refunded and if canceled later than 14 days before the trip, 25% of the total amount will be refunded. No refund is possible if you cancel the tour later than 7 days before departure.

MORE I NEED TO KNOW?
Meeting place is by the train station in Rättvik, see map below. Note that we are leaving the meeting place shortly after the tour starts. Prior the tour we will send you a packing list for the tour. This tour is a semi-soft adventure, suitable for almost everyone, however it’s always a wise idea to be in good condition for hiking. Using water resistant hiking boots will also make the tour a more pleasant experience. Remember to tell us if you have any food preferences when booking.
